Primary and Secondary Break areas (optional)

In the Edit Crane Shift dialog box, the Primary Break and Secondary Break areas include the following fields for optional information about work breaks:

• Start Time: Specify start time of the break (hh:mm).

• Duration: Enter the total break time (hh:mm).

Use the 24-hour time format.

If you have defined custom crane delay types in N4, the Type field displays these crane delay types as a pop-up list. Otherwise, the Type field is unavailable.

Using the Type field, you can select the type of delay that occurred at the first and second breaks. If crane delay types are not defined in N4, XPS uses the primaryBreak delay type (default) for the first break and the secondaryBreak delay type (default) for the second break. The primary break is retained even after the shift is completed.
